What is the iRex iLiad?
The iLiad is a portable device that lets you read and write as you do on paper, everywhere you go.
The iLiad is designed for comfortable reading in most ambient lighting conditions including full sunlight. The display looks just like paper.
iLiad Features
- Content formats supported: the popular Mobipocket eBook format, PDF, XHTML, TXT, BMP, PNG.
- The iLiad uses a high resolution ePaper display made with E Ink's electronic ink material. The ePaper display can be viewed from all angles and in full sunlight or dim light just like paper.
- WiFi and wired internet connection. The iLiad can automatically download content and updates over the Internet.
- PC connection. You can also connect the iLiad directly to any PC with a USB cable. The iLiad PC Companion software (supplied with the device) enables you to easily transfer and manage the documents between your PC and the iLiad.
A portable library on the move
The iLiad can hold dozens of books and documents. Memory capacity can be increased simply by inserting a Compact Flash or MMC card, just as with digital cameras. You can even insert your USB-stick into the iLiad to quickly read content.
No longer will you agonise about which book you'd like to take with you, just take them all and decide later. With the iLiad you have a personal library at your disposal.
